The ICPC chairman also mentioned that their investigations found possible accomplices within the OSGF who may have aided the operations of this fake agency.
Consequently, President Tinubu directed that Nwabueze be arrested immediately and ordered the suspension of three permanent secretaries: M.S. Danjuma, Nadungu Gagare, and Richard P. Pheelangwah.

Aliyu indicated that the commission had been in contact with the OSGF to gather necessary information regarding the alleged false agency and would continue investigating the situation.
This latest finding is part of a wider inquiry initiated by President Tinubu after the discovery of the fictitious Presidential Foreign Intervention Promotion Council, whose supposed Director General, Adeniyi Adeyemi Matthew, is currently facing charges for forgery and impersonation.
An interim report from the ICPC presented to the President on August 6 also unveiled two other purportedly fictitious organizations: the FCT Investment Promotion Agency and the Foreign Investment Promotion Agency and Public Private Partnership.
With the revelation of the National Brands Development and Made-in-Nigeria Special Project Office, the total number of alleged fraudulent agencies identified in this ongoing investigation has now reached four, raising significant concerns about unauthorized entities operating within the framework of the Federal Government.
