In an interview, Obi expressed concern for his life, suggesting that if the situation persists, he might not survive to participate in the 2027 presidential election.

He shared, “At the rate this government is acting, I may not be here to run in the 2027 election. Everything I do is being intentionally impeded, and I experience daily frustrations.”

Obi described an instance of intimidation at the airport, where his car was locked by officials while other vehicles parked in the same area were left alone. “They just locked my car at the airport. I noticed other cars parked there, yet mine was specifically targeted. This type of treatment is commonplace for me.”
