The governor emphasized that mere minor changes were insufficient for the state’s transformation, necessitating a comprehensive restructuring of governance to produce tangible outcomes. His agenda revolves around seven main pillars: security and safety, infrastructure enhancement, strengthening institutions, fostering trade and investment, agriculture, developing human capital, and promoting citizen participation. He described these priorities as interconnected strategies aimed at making Kaduna a secure, thriving, and inclusive state.

Regarding security, he noted collaborations with the National Security Adviser and military leaders to establish military bases in high-risk areas like Giwa, Birnin Gwari, and Southern Kaduna. He reported that over 150 operational vehicles and 500 motorcycles have been supplied to security forces, and a Joint Task Force in urban areas has contributed to a decrease in crime and banditry.

Additionally, Governor Sani mentioned the recovery of over 20,000 hectares of farmland that had been previously inaccessible, which has enabled farmers to return to cultivation in regions such as Birnin Gwari, Giwa, and Kargarko.

In the education sector, he announced the construction of 736 new classrooms, renovation of more than 1,200 existing ones, recruitment of 10,000 teachers, and training of over 33,000 education workers. One notable success of his administration has been reducing the number of out-of-school children from approximately 550,000 to 187,720 in just two years.

In healthcare, he revealed improvements that included upgrading 255 primary healthcare centers, establishing 23 centers of excellence across local government areas, and inaugurating a 300-bed specialist hospital to enhance medical access.

On infrastructure, he mentioned the launch of nearly 150 road projects covering over 1,300 kilometers across the 23 local government areas of Kaduna, aimed at enhancing connectivity and stimulating economic activity.

He also noted that between 2023 and 2025, the state attracted 23 investments totaling over $743 million, with an additional investment pipeline estimated at $2.77 billion. Furthermore, he pointed out that social intervention programs have increased, distributing over ₦18 billion to assist households, farmers, and small businesses, along with the CNG transport scheme serving more than 1.4 million passengers.

Despite ongoing challenges, Governor Sani affirmed that Kaduna is experiencing improved security, renewed public confidence, and gradual economic recovery in previously inaccessible regions.
