Youth Leaders Emphasise Unity, PVC Registration
A major focus of the meeting was the need to strengthen unity among APC youth leaders across the Lagos East Senatorial District.
Participants agreed that party unity remains essential to sustaining the APC’s electoral success while also encouraging eligible Nigerians, particularly young people, to register for and safeguard their Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs) ahead of future elections.
Support Declared for Tinubu, Hamzat
During the meeting, the youth leaders unanimously reaffirmed their support for the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and other returning elected officials across Lagos East.
They also endorsed Lagos State Deputy Governor, Kadri Obafemi Hamzat, as their preferred candidate for the office of Governor of Lagos State.
Five-Man Committee Constituted
To improve coordination between the Lagos East Senatorial Youth Leadership and youth structures across the LGAs and LCDAs, a five-member committee was established.
The committee comprises:
– Hon. Caleb Olomitola – Bariga
– Alhaji Saheed Balogun – Epe
– Hon. Ayodele Ahmed – Ikorodu
– Hon. Omokhudu Alufohai – Kosofe
– Hon. Adeniyi Lukmon – Ibeju-Lekki
The committee will facilitate communication, strengthen collaboration, and oversee the implementation of party initiatives across the senatorial district.
