The Lagos State Office for Disability Affairs (LASODA), in collaboration with the Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC), has trained 100 Persons with Disabilities (PWDs) in digital citizenship and skills.
The two-day training, held from September 9 to 10, 2026, at The Cordis Hotel, Alausa, Ikeja, focused on promoting safe and responsible digital participation while equipping participants with practical skills for employment, entrepreneurship and socio-economic inclusion.

Representing the LASODA General Manager, Mrs. Adenike Oyetunde-Lawal, at the opening ceremony, the Head of Monitoring, Evaluation and Orientation, Dr. Funmi Adekola, commended the NCC for deliberately including PWDs in its digital empowerment agenda.
