In a remarkable show of dominance, Soludo won all 21 local government areas of Anambra State — a rare feat that underscores APGA’s strong grassroots influence across the region.
The state recorded 2,788,864 registered voters, of which 598,229 were accredited, while 595,298 total votes were cast. INEC also reported 11,244 rejected votes.
INEC Declares Soludo Winner
Announcing the official results, Prof. Omoregie stated, “After collating the results as tallied into Form EC8E, I, Prof. Edoba Omoregie, Returning Officer for the 2025 Anambra State Governorship Election, hereby declare that the election was peaceful.
“Chukwuma Soludo of the All Progressives Grand Alliance, having scored 422,664 votes, the highest number of valid votes cast and having satisfied the requirements of the law, is hereby declared the winner and returned elected.”
He added that although some polling units in Anambra West, Anaocha, Awka South, and Onitsha South LGAs recorded cancellations due to isolated incidents, the 10,481 affected votes did not alter the outcome of the election.
