The seven abducted individuals include Gift Victor, Hannatu Yusuf, Salina Sam, Silvia Sam, Dogarah Maisamari, Hassana Bulus, and Joy Samaila.
The situation remains precarious, with some villagers still missing.
The source mentioned that three girls who fled into nearby bushes have not yet returned, and at least one injured person is in critical condition at a local hospital.
Residents believe this assault is part of an alarming trend.
Just days prior, on April 12, suspected bandits attempted to invade the same village during a church service but were thwarted by military forces.
Security personnel were reported to have responded swiftly during Monday’s attack as well, helping to avert additional casualties and abductions.
Southern Kaduna continues to face frequent assaults by armed groups, resulting in fatalities, kidnappings, and significant displacement of its residents.
