The council chairman urged traders to dispose of their waste properly, clean their stalls and surroundings regularly, and avoid dumping refuse indiscriminately. She stressed that environmental hygiene is a shared duty, stating that everyone must play a part in this effort.
Animashaun also issued a warning, noting that the local government is prepared to enforce existing environmental laws and impose sanctions on those who fail to comply. However, she reassured traders of the council’s dedication to providing sufficient waste disposal facilities and conducting regular monitoring to ensure a healthy market environment.
