FUSTECH Epe: See the Full List of 34 NUC-Approved Courses

The National Universities Commission has granted formal accreditation for 34 undergraduate courses at the newly established Federal University of Science and Technology, located in Epe, Lagos State.

The regulatory green light was detailed in an official correspondence dated October 23, 2026, issued on behalf of NUC Executive Secretary Prof. Abdullahi Ribadu.

The decision followed a comprehensive resource assessment by panels of academic experts, who evaluated the institution’s staffing levels, infrastructure, and learning facilities.

Academic activities for the certified programmes are set to commence on a full-time basis from the 2026/2027 academic calendar. According to an official statement, the commission established a maximum intake of 50 candidates per course, capping the institution’s inaugural student capacity at 1,700 across all 34 disciplines.

The NUC clarified that the current authorization applies exclusively to regular full-time study, noting that any future part-time offerings will require distinct evaluation and approval.

To facilitate its takeoff, FUSTECH is temporarily co-locating and sharing select facilities at the Epe campus of Lagos State University. LASU authorities previously confirmed that this interim partnership is designed to ensure a seamless operational rollout while FUSTECH advances development on its permanent grounds.
