Governor Uba Sani has urged his political rivals to refrain from spreading false information that could jeopardize peace and stability in Kaduna State.
During an Iftar dinner with security agency leaders, he highlighted that while his administration appreciates constructive feedback, it will not accept intentional misinformation meant to provoke unrest.

Sani warned that those trying to disrupt the state’s tranquility under the pretext of political rivalry would face legal consequences.

Recognizing Kaduna’s diverse and sensitive demographics, he reiterated his government’s dedication to maintaining harmony and peaceful coexistence.
With political primaries set to take place from April to May as per the schedule from the Independent National Electoral Commission, he encouraged security forces to stay alert, as some losing politicians might resort to misinformation to create discord.
Additionally, Sani called for improved collaboration among security agencies, local government chairpersons, and traditional and religious leaders to boost grassroots intelligence efforts.
He praised security personnel for their teamwork and noted that there have been no ethnic or religious conflicts in the state since he took office. While acknowledging progress in security, he stated that work would continue to tackle issues like banditry and kidnapping.
