Governor Makinde reinforces commitment to 3SC, Ibadan’s football club

On Thursday, October 2nd, 2025, Hon. Taiwo Lekan Salami, Chairman of Shooting Stars Sports Club, visited Governor Seyi Makinde to provide an update on the club’s progress since his appointment. Engr. Akin Akinleye, the Governor’s Executive Assistant on Sports Development, and devoted 3SC supporter, Idris Animasaun also attended.

During the meeting, Hon. Salami conveyed his heartfelt appreciation to Governor Makinde for his continued support of Shooting Stars. He presented the club’s official merchandise and extended an invitation for the Governor to attend the upcoming NPFL Matchday 7 fixture, which he graciously accepted.
