Responsibilities:
- Lead well planning and drilling/completion engineering activities.
- Develop well trajectories, casing designs and drilling programmes.
- Perform drilling engineering analyses covering hydraulics, cementing, torque and drag, and collision risk.
- Coordinate technical preparations for safe drilling campaign execution.
- Coordinate annual planning, budgeting and strategic planning activities.
- Support production forecasting and financial planning.
- Conduct economic analysis for reserves and investment decisions.
- Monitor performance against budgets and forecasts.
- Identify opportunities for production optimisation and value creation.
- Provide planning insights for strategic decisions.
- Provide process and technical safety support throughout production system design and commissioning.
- Review technical safety documentation.
- Coordinate safety activities with engineering contractors.
- Ensure designs meet applicable safety standards.

- Prepare pipeline engineering deliverables from concept through construction.
- Develop scopes of work and support feasibility, route selection and risk studies.
- Participate in HAZID, HAZOP and design reviews.

- Use technical information to support production targets.
- Develop and mature OML 30 field development plans.
- Lead reservoir simulation and production enhancement studies.
- Build and maintain static and dynamic reservoir models.

Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Petroleum Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
- 6-8 years of relevant well engineering or drilling experience.
- Experience in development well planning and land drilling.
- Knowledge of drilling operations and engineering software such as Landmark Suite or Sysdrill.
- Strong analytical, communication, reporting and problem-solving skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Petroleum Engineering, Petroleum Economics, Energy Economics or a related field.
- At least 8 years of relevant oil and gas experience.
- Experience in business planning, production forecasting, reservoir management and reserves/resource estimation.
- Strong analytical, mathematical and business planning abilities.
- Power BI, Tableau or similar data analytics experience is desirable.
- Postgraduate qualification or professional certification is an advantage.
