“More than half of Nigerians don’t have voter cards, yet you want me to run for president,” he remarked.

He stated that he has taken into account the diverse opinions from across the nation and will continue to consult before reaching any final decision.

“I’ve heard from young people, and I will consult. I cannot simply decide one day that I want to be president of Nigeria again. As I mentioned, I will consult, and if necessary, I will proceed,” Jonathan affirmed.
