You will be deported -Kemi Badenoch unveils Plan to Deport 750,000 Illegal Migrants

United Kingdom Conservative Party leader, Kemi Badenoch has announced a sweeping new immigration policy that aims to deport 150,000 illegal migrants each year, totalling 750,000 deportations over five years.

The plan, described by Badenoch as the “toughest reforms Britain has ever seen”, was unveiled on Sunday through a video posted on her official X (formerly Twitter) handle.

Badenoch pledged to bar anyone entering the UK illegally from ever seeking asylum, saying her administration would restore public confidence in border control after what she described as “years of failure” by both Conservative and Labour governments.

“Successive governments have failed on immigration. Labour promised to smash the gangs,” Badenoch said. “Instead, just a year in, they deliver record small boat crossings, over 50,000 illegal arrivals, 32,000 people in asylum hotels — billions wasted. It’s pure weakness.”

“Britain needs a serious, credible plan and the backbone to deliver it. That’s Conservatives. That’s our borders plan. My message is clear: if you come here illegally, you will be deported. We will shut down the asylum hotel racket, save billions and take back control of Britain’s borders.”

Under the plan, deported migrants would be returned either to their home countries or to “safe third countries” willing to accept them. The UK would also seek bilateral return agreements, threatening cuts to foreign aid and visa access for nations refusing to cooperate.

The Conservative Party argues that shutting down asylum hotels would generate billions in savings, which would then be redirected toward border enforcement operations.

The proposal comes as Badenoch’s leadership faces mounting pressure amid slumping poll numbers and a growing challenge from Nigel Farage’s Reform UK Party, which has capitalised on voter frustration over immigration and border control.

Critics, however, have warned that the plan could trigger legal challenges, diplomatic rifts, and human rights concerns, particularly with the proposed withdrawal from the ECHR, a cornerstone of post-war European cooperation.

Still, Badenoch remains adamant that the policy marks a turning point.
“Britain will no longer be a soft target,” she declared. “We are taking back control of our borders once and for all.”
