Engineer Nimrod commended the initiative, noting that it not only fosters unity but also encourages a healthy lifestyle, especially in today’s fast-paced world where sedentary habits are becoming more common.

“It brings parents and children together in an atmosphere of fun and fitness. With the increasing cases of health emergencies, especially sudden slumps, regular exercise is more important than ever. Activities like these are essential for the well-being of both children and adults,” he stated.

Also speaking at the event, Barrister Nathan Naandeti, the stand-in chairman of the HOBA Community in Abuja, highlighted the association’s vision of using sports as a vehicle for unity, health, and communal engagement.

“This is something we do annually to bring our people together. It shows unity, promotes fitness, and reminds us that sports is part of our identity,” he said.

Participants engaged in a variety of games including volleyball, badminton, football, and aerobics, creating a vibrant and family-friendly atmosphere that helped participants unwind from their busy routines.

The event saw impressive turnout from the HOBA community in Abuja, as residents enthusiastically participated in the various sporting activities, emphasizing the importance of balancing work and wellness.
