Ikosi-Ejinrin LCDA unveils 'Summer Coaching 2.0' for SS2 & SS3 Students

The Ikosi-Ejinrin Local Council Development Area (LCDA), under the leadership of Executive Chairman Akogun Wale Raji Anomo, has officially launched the second edition of its Summer Coaching Programme for Senior Secondary School students.

Tagged Summer Coaching 2.0, the initiative is tailored for SS2 and SS3 students across the LCDA and is aimed at equipping them with critical academic knowledge and skills as they prepare for their final secondary school examinations.

The free coaching programme will run from Monday, August 4th to Friday, September 5th, 2025, and will hold daily from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm at four designated centers within the LCDA.

Chairman Anomo described the initiative as a “lifeline for young learners” and emphasised that it reflects his administration’s broader goal of consolidating educational gains and expanding access to learning opportunities.

“This program is more than just revision; it’s a foundation for our students to build confidence and academic strength ahead of their WAEC, NECO, and UTME exams,” Anomo stated.

The Summer Coaching 2.0 program builds on the success of the first edition and reaffirms the council’s commitment to making quality education accessible to all, particularly those in underserved communities.
