The award was presented during the Mega Change Makers Conference, a dynamic event organized by the Lagos State Youth Ambassadors, Badagry Division.

Named after Hon Sesi Oluwaseun Whingan, a Member of the House of Representatives for Badagry and Deputy Chairman of the House Committee on Petroleum Resources Upstream, this award honors exceptional contributions to civic leadership, public service, and governance.

It is considered one of the highest accolades for young leaders both within Lagos State and beyond.

Following the announcement, Fisher, who is currently the President of the Lagos State University Law Students Association, expressed profound gratitude.

In a Facebook post, he described the award as a recognition of service that left him feeling humbled.

Fisher praised Hon Sesi Whingan for his ongoing dedication to public service, youth development, community enhancement, and effective governance.

He noted that receiving an award named after such a significant leader, whose impact resonates throughout Badagry, Lagos, and Nigeria, serves as both an inspiration and a challenge to live up to high standards in his own leadership journey.

He expressed sincere thanks to the Lagos State Youth Ambassadors, Badagry Division, for honoring him with this recognition and paid tribute to Hon Whingan for his vision, integrity, and steadfast commitment to the community.

The event not only highlighted Fisher’s individual success but also underscored the momentum of young leaders in Badagry who are stepping forward in leadership and public service.

For many attendees, his accolade represented hope, potential, and the rising prominence of youth poised to influence the future.
