The Ajase-Ipo outreach provided Fulani farmers with chemicals and sprayers designed to improve pest control, boost crop yields, and promote sustainable agricultural practices ahead of the rainy season.
According to the Coordinator of Agricultural Initiatives at the MOK Foundation, Alhaji Tunde Salahudeen, the programme is a continuation of efforts that began about three years ago.

The distribution follows similar exercises which the foundation has carried out in multiple communities of Kwara State for the past year. Previous phases reached Fulani farmers in Offa, Oke-Ero, Omupo in Ifelodun, Babanla, Wande, Ajengbe, and Lafiagi in Edu Local Government Area, among many other communities.

Alhaji Tunde Salahudeen noted that the delayed distribution was due to “unpredictable weather patterns and the late onset of rain.”
He added that while the foundation has pursued the initiative for nearly three years, the current rollout represents “a more extensive outreach to agrarian communities in Kwara State.”
The Ajase-Ipo distribution was organised in collaboration with Fulani community leaders and was conducted under the guidance of local Jowuros to ensure an organised and effective delivery.
One of the beneficiaries, Mallam Ali Saidu, expressed gratitude to the MOK Foundation and its founder, Alhaji Muideen Okunola Kayode, citing his “generosity and commitment to supporting local farmers.”
Similar sentiments were echoed by Sanusi Aliu, who said the assistance has “enabled them to improve their agricultural practices, enhance crop yields, and ultimately foster economic growth within their communities.” Economics.
Kwara South Fulani leaders, speaking through Jowuro Mallam Aduagba Suleiman of Ajase-Ipo, praised the foundation for empowering women with start-up capital and donating chemicals, fertilizers, and other farm inputs to farmers.
Mallam Muhammad Bello, Jowuro of Omu-Aran, assured the foundation of a “long-term partnership,” noting that MOK has supported Fulani communities for “more than a year.”
The foundation says the initiative is designed to enhance food security and build “resilient agricultural systems,” while ensuring that “no farmer regardless of background is left behind.” The development is expected to positively impact local farming communities by increasing productivity and improving livelihoods.
Founded by Alhaji Muideen Okunola Kayode, Principal Partner of Luxiar Construction Company, the MOK Foundation has positioned the farm input distribution as part of broader community development efforts in Kwara State.
