General Christopher Musa (Rtd), Nigeria’s Minister of Defence, has called an urgent meeting with the country’s senior military officials at the Ministry of Defence in Abuja. This gathering aims to address the rising wave of assaults on military sites, particularly in the North East.
Attendees of the meeting will include notable leaders such as: Chief of Defence Staff, General Olufemi Oluyede, Chief of Army Staff, Lt.-Gen. Waidi Shaibu, Chief of Air Staff, Air Marshal Sunday Aneke, Chief of Naval Staff, Vice Admiral Idi Abass, Representatives from the National Intelligence Agency (NIA).

This urgent meeting follows a series of deadly terrorist attacks on military facilities in the North East, with reports confirming the deaths of at least three Lieutenant-Colonel commanding officers in Borno State, along with numerous soldiers.
