Despite these arrests, reports indicate that the main kidnappers in the forest remain at large, successfully evading capture.

The police identified individuals named Babangida and Kabiru as local logistics providers and informants, apprehending them in Ibadan’s Ojoo Area while they were trying to collect ransom money for the bandits.
