“The Nigeria Police Force is committed to ensuring that criminals, particularly kidnappers, have no safe place to hide, employing intelligence-led operations and ongoing security measures. Ko S’aye fun iwa odaran. No room for criminality. The forests are no longer secure for criminals,” the statement emphasized.

One of the survivors expressed gratitude to the police for their efforts. “I thank the Nigerian Police for their courage and quick response. They risked their lives to come into the forest and save us. I appreciate the commissioners of police from both Lagos and Ogun states. It was astounding to see the police act so swiftly on our behalf.

We heard gunfire from the expressway where we were being held, which caused our captors to flee, and we managed to crawl out of our confinement,” he stated.
