“Governor Sanwo-Olu will hand over to me as governor of Lagos State. It’s my turn,” Ajose proclaimed, eliciting loud cheers from the crowd.
“Badagry is a vital part of Lagos State and has consistently supported the progressive agenda. It’s only fair that we get the chance to lead for the benefit of all Lagosians,” he continued.
Ajose also tied his aspirations to the ongoing discussion about fair power rotation among Lagos State’s IBILE divisions, which consist of Ikorodu, Badagry, Ikeja, Lagos Island, and Epe.
He asserted that his rise to power would catalyze development in Badagry and enhance inclusive governance and representation throughout the state.
“Our rise will not just foster development in Badagry, but also ensure inclusivity and balanced representation across Lagos,” Ajose affirmed.
He encouraged party members and residents to remain united and focused leading into the APC primaries, emphasizing that their collective strength would influence the election outcome.

Among those in attendance were the Chief Imam of Badagry Division, Sheikh AbdulHakeem Uwais Akewusola, prominent Christian leaders, market representatives, youth advocates, and traditional heads, all of whom expressed their support for the APC gubernatorial hopeful.
Political analysts suggest that this rally may mark a significant step in the push for Badagry to secure the next governorship of Lagos State, particularly as the competition for the APC ticket heats up ahead of the essential primaries.
