The Yachine Trophy, organised by France Football, recognises the best goalkeepers in the world over the past year.

Nnadozie joins an impressive list of nominees that includes Ann-Katrin Berger (Germany), Cata Coll (Spain), Hannah Hampton (England), and Daphne van Domselaar (Netherlands).

The shot-stopper has had an outstanding season with Paris FC, helping the club to a strong league campaign and a notable run in the UEFA Women’s Champions League. Her performances with the Super Falcons, especially during the 2024 WAFCON where they won 10th WAFCON.

Nnadozie’s nomination marks a major milestone, not just in her career, but for Nigerian women’s football, as she becomes the first Nigerian goalkeeper to be nominated for the women’s version of the Yachine Trophy.
The winner set to be announced at the Ballon d’Or ceremony later this year.
