The outreach which eventuated on Saturday, 2nd August 2025, aimed at educating and enlightening underserved communities to understand their purpose as individuals of Nigeria who elect leaders and who have rights for formal education.

During their visit, Muhammad Garba Sabiyel, the Vice President of F3KB expressed his concern over what the people of the Communities are facing.

He explained that the residents voiced out deep concerns about the lack of government support, attention, and essential services in their villages. While they participate actively in elections, voting for their leaders, they feel neglected by the authorities, and government.

“These villages are still remote. They lack almost every aspect of a human necessity. The government has forgotten them. They lack reliable water sources, education, mosques, and hospitals that aid their welfare,” Muhammad lamented that they are vulnerable who even think they are not Nigerians or indigenes from Kebbi State.

He added: “Community leaders expressed uncertainty about any ongoing government aid. They have little to no information on support programs. They appealed for assistance and urgent need for their basic necessities, especially clean water,” he exclaimed, adding that a government official has promised to build a water resource which turns out to be a lie for years now.

In an exclusive interview with the Vice President, Muhammad Garba, he told The Lagos Voice that they had promised to amplify these villagers’ voices and provide them opportunities that will aid them.

“I will make sure the government hears them and knows their situation. They are also our families, not only citizens from Nigeria but Kebbians.
