The Executive Chairman of Lekki Local Council Development Area (LCDA), Engr. Rasaki Bamidele Kasali (MNSE, MNATE), on Monday received Dr. Lasisi Idris Temidayo and his mother during a courtesy visit to the Council Secretariat, where they expressed deep appreciation for the Chairman’s scholarship support toward his medical education.

He described the scholarship as a “life-changing opportunity” that significantly eased his financial burdens and allowed him to focus on his academic goals.
“The support I received from the Chairman was more than financial aid, it was a symbol of hope and encouragement. I’m deeply grateful for the opportunity that helped me achieve my dream of becoming a medical doctor,” Dr. Lasisi said during the visit.
In his remarks, Engr. Kasali congratulated the new doctor on his successful completion of medical school and commended his perseverance, discipline, and commitment to excellence.
He urged Dr. Lasisi to remain humble, compassionate, and dedicated to the service of humanity.
“We are proud of your achievement. Education remains a key pillar of our administration, and stories like yours inspire us to continue investing in young people. Go out there and make Lekki LCDA proud,” the Chairman stated.
Engr. Kasali reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to youth empowerment, educational development, and community support initiatives, noting that the Council will continue to sponsor brilliant but less-privileged students within the LCDA.
