A Strategic Finance Mandate
This is no ordinary finance role. The Head of Finance will serve as a pivotal strategic partner to the leadership team, driving financial discipline while enabling bold expansion in an operationally intense, creatively uncompromising industry.

Key responsibilities include:
– Developing and implementing financial strategies aligned with aggressive growth goals
– Leading budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting with analytical rigour
– Evaluating investments and capital allocation decisions
– Managing cash flow, liquidity, and working capital optimization
– Ensuring full regulatory compliance (VAT, PAYE, CIT, pensions, etc.)

– Building robust internal controls, governance, and risk management frameworks
– Providing clear, actionable financial insights to non-finance leaders
– Mentoring and developing the finance team (Finance Manager, Executive, and Intern)
The role reports to the Chief Financial Officer and operates on a hybrid model (3 days onsite in Lagos, 2 days remote).
Watermark & Victoria seeks a seasoned finance leader with:
– A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
– Minimum 10 years of progressive financial management experience
