Describing the event while speaking to The Lagos Voice, Ayanfe said the Beacon of the Ancestors is a program he has been wishing to be at. “I really wanted Adewunmi Itansan, the host, to have done this event since, but I am glad I am here today,” Ayanfe said.

The young performer, who took the stage during the event’s performances, expressed deep appreciation for the opportunity. “I really appreciate the fact that I performed here today. I just want to encourage Adewunmi to do more, and once I am alive, I will always represent my culture,” he added.
