Role Summary
The Internal Auditor will be responsible for planning and executing risk-based audits across the company’s operational, financial, and compliance functions. The role ensures adherence to internal policies, regulatory requirements, and insurance industry best practices.

Key Responsibilities
- Plan and conduct internal audits (financial, operational, and compliance)
- Evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls and risk management systems
- Identify control weaknesses and recommend practical solutions
- Ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines and company policies
- Prepare detailed audit reports and present findings to management
- Follow up on the implementation of audit recommendations
Requirements
- First Degree from a reputable higher institution
- Relevant experience in an Internal Audit role (Insurance or Financial Services experience is an advantage)
- Strong technical knowledge of audit procedures, internal controls, and risk management
- Good understanding of insurance operations
- Professional certification such as ICAN, ACCA, CFA, or CIA is a strong added advantage
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- High level of integrity and attention to detail
