Recognising this development, the Dean of the Faculty of Arts applauded the move as a welcome idea that seeks to improve the quality and knowledge of traditional and classical music and revive organ music traditions in churches and the country at large.

He affirmed that the accreditation process is ongoing and that for a new programme implementation, it has to pass through 10 committees, out of which it has successfully passed about three committees.

To further demonstrate his commitment to investing in music culture, the music specialist equipped the already designated space within the Department of Music named the “Lanre Delano Organ Studies Room” with a Two-Manual Allen Organ, with ongoing plans for a separate building once the programme acquires full-fledged status, while also promising to provide another brand-new musical instrument with the aid of his friends and principals at Allen Organ Company, USA.
