This initiative is supported by a daily supply of 50 million litres, aimed at alleviating consumers’ challenges, stabilizing the downstream market, and preventing the typical fuel shortages often seen during festive seasons.

Dangote Refinery commended MRS Oil Nigeria Plc and other compliant marketers for their adherence to the new pricing, labeling their actions as patriotic and beneficial for Nigerians.

The refinery also urged other marketers to source products from them to extend the advantages of the price drop throughout the country.

The company cautioned against dishonest practices like artificial scarcity and price hikes, deeming these actions unpatriotic and detrimental to the economy.

It has urged regulatory authorities to take strong measures against any operators who violate the set price.

Nigerians were advised to avoid buying petrol from stations that charge elevated prices, especially when locally refined fuel is available at ₦739 per litre.
