Nigeria’s First Lady, Oluremi Tinubu, has been honored with the traditional title of Sarauniyar Yaki, which means Queen Warrior, by the Akko Emirate in Gombe State. This recognition comes as a tribute to her dedication to advocating for the vulnerable throughout the country. The title was presented to her by the Lamido Akko, Alhaji Umar Muhammad Atiku, during her recent two-day visit to the state.

The ceremony was attended by notable figures, including the State Governor, Muhammad Inuwa Yahaya, and the Chief Whip of the House of Representatives, Hon. Usman Bello Kumo. During her time in Gombe, the First Lady will also launch the Renewed Hope Initiative Flow With Confidence, a key program focused on menstrual health for school girls.
