Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct frequent, unscheduled physical cash counts (till audits) at cash registers and the main vault daily.
• Compare daily cash sales and digital payments against system records (POS/Bank Settlements) to identify and reconcile variances.
• Immediately investigate all identified cash shortages, overages, or suspicious transactions and report findings to the Finance Manager.
• Check that daily cash handling, banking, and safe-keeping procedures are strictly followed by staff to prevent errors or fraud.
• Monitor fixed assets, equipment, and store property to ensure they are accurately tagged, documented, and properly maintained.
• Prepare accurate daily and weekly reports on cash compliance, till reconciliations, and asset security status.
Key Skills & Competencies
• Exceptional attention to detail and strong numerical accuracy.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to spot irregularities or inconsistencies in transaction logs.
• Experience with POS back-end systems, payment gateways, and cash verification tools.
• High level of integrity, confidentiality, and commitment to strict financial control procedures.

Requirements:
Minimum of OND/HND/BSc in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in internal control, cash auditing, till reconciliation, or a related finance control function.
• Must have completed NYSC.
• Proven ability to perform precise financial reconciliations and asset checks in a high-volume environment.
• Proficient in using Microsoft Excel for data analysis and financial reporting.
• Must be available to work Mondays to Saturdays.
