The free summer coaching programme for primary school pupils in the Lekki Local Council Development Area (LCDA) has officially come to a close. The initiative, organised by the council under the leadership of the Executive Chairman, Engr. Rasaki Bamidele Kasali (MNSE, MNATE) RBK, provided pupils with academic revision and confidence-building sessions ahead of the new school year.

Speaking at the closing ceremony, Engr. Kasali expressed appreciation to Yeshua’s Arm, a long-standing partner of the council, for its continued support in the areas of education and child protection.

“We are grateful to Yeshua’s Arm for their steadfast partnership in empowering our children through education. Their contribution has been invaluable in helping us build brighter futures for our pupils,” RBK said.

Certificates of Participation
To mark the conclusion of the programme, certificates of participation were presented to pupils in recognition of their dedication and hard work during the summer coaching. Parents and guardians were also commended for encouraging their children to take part in the programme.

“I am proud of the enthusiasm shown by the children throughout this coaching. Their commitment proves that, with the right support, our young learners can excel. We also thank parents and guardians who stood by them,” the chairman added.

Investing in the Future
The initiative is part of Lekki LCDA’s wider commitment to educational development, with the council emphasising that investment in children today secures a stronger future for the community.

Engr. Kasali reaffirmed his administration’s resolve to continue supporting educational programmes.
