NDC reveals fees for presidential and governorship candidates, set primary election date 

The Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) has revealed the registration fees for its primary elections as it gears up for the 2027 general election.

Presidential candidates will need to pay N60 million, while those running for governorship positions must pay N30 million to obtain their nomination and expression of interest forms.

NDC National Chairman, Moses Cleopas, announced in a statement that the sale of these forms will take place from May 13 to May 18. He also urged candidates to come prepared for the screening process by bringing their necessary credentials and supporting documents.

In an inclusive move, female candidates will be required to pay half of the standard fee, while persons with disabilities (PWDs) will pay 25% across all categories.
