The video continued with details about the suspect, a member of the kitchen staff assigned to presidential services, who was reportedly taken in for questioning as investigators began to look into the allegations of poisoning. Security agencies called for public calm, emphasizing that the investigation is ongoing and that accusations do not imply guilt without proper legal proceedings.

In direct response, Onanuga stated: “No Aso Rock kitchen staff was arrested. No Aso Rock kitchen staff attempted to poison President Tinubu. Please disregard this false information circulating in the video.”
