Hon. Biodun Ojo, Commissioner for Tourism and Culture in Osun State, has applauded the Ìtànṣán Art Fest as a bold and commendable initiative, urging more young people to organize similar cultural events.
Speaking with The Lagos Voice at the “Beacon of the Ancestors” festival held on Friday, May 22, 2026, at Adeline Hall, Lead City University, Ibadan, the Commissioner praised the convener for stepping up. “This event is a good start, and an improved job. I commend this lady, the convener for taking up the challenge. It’s not an easy thing, but she has done very well,” Hon. Biodun Ojo said.

The best government can do is to give you an environment, the private sector needs to be involved,” he added.
