Sani shared his views during an episode of The Honest Bunch Podcast, where he discussed Nigeria’s political landscape with human rights activist Deji Adeyanju.

He emphasized that the support for Obi does not signify genuine political change, stating, “The backing for Peter Obi is tribal,” as many supporters belong to his ethnic group. He argued that if Obi were to become President, the situation would remain unchanged.

According to Sani, figures like Obi, Obasanjo, Atiku, and Tinubu all come from similar ideological backgrounds.
