Datti condemns Obi over defection from LP to other political parties

Yusuf Datti Baba-Ahmed, the 2023 vice-presidential candidate for the Labour Party alongside Peter Obi, has condemned the former governor of Anambra State for his political decisions and leadership style.

In a recent interview on X (formerly Twitter), Baba-Ahmed expressed his discontent over Obi’s departure from the Labour Party and his management of internal party conflicts.

He emphasized that Obi should have remained with the party to tackle its challenges instead of leaving, highlighting the need for dedication in political battles.

He stated, “Despite my objections to what the All Progressives Congress has done to Nigerians, someone who easily secured the Labour Party’s ticket should have stayed to address the party’s issues, however challenging they may be.
