Explaining his decision to defect, the 2023 LP flagbearer said his choice of ADC was driven by the urgent need to foster unity among opposition parties.
“This coalition is about rescuing Nigeria. Since the 2023 elections, I have consistently maintained that the opposition cannot afford to remain fragmented,” he said.
Rhodes-Vivour warned that if Nigeria’s political landscape continued to be shaped by thuggery and intimidation, governance would remain weak and citizens would be denied a voice in decision-making.
“To unseat those who wield power through violence and fear, we must build a robust alliance that reflects the will of the people,” he declared.
Expressing confidence in his new political platform, Rhodes-Vivour described ADC as a family committed to unity and purposeful leadership.
“I am happy to join the ADC family. My prayer is that God grants our leaders the wisdom and courage to chart a new course for this country,” he added.
