Those who seek conflict will face the consequences,” he stated when questioned about engaging with criminals.
When asked whether such negotiations would apply to criminal organizations, Obi reiterated that individuals should have the chance to reform if they sincerely want change. “I am open to discussions with anyone who claims they want peace,” he remarked.

“If you express a willingness to change and be part of the new Nigeria we aim to create, that is attainable,” he noted.
Nonetheless, Obi underscored that those unwilling to pursue peace would face the full force of the law. “If you don’t wish to be part of this initiative, we must confront the truth,” he added.
The former governor of Anambra State articulated that his broader vision for addressing insecurity is built on national unity, inclusiveness, and ensuring that no community feels marginalized in governance. “I will unite the country and ensure no tribe is overlooked. We will promote inclusiveness, love, and care for everyone,” Obi asserted.
