The Executive Chairman of Lekki Local Council Development Area (LCDA), Engr. Rasaki Bamidele Kasali (MNSE, MNATE), has completed the comprehensive reconstruction of Community Primary School, Folu.
The school, which previously suffered severe structural damage from a severe windstorm, has now been fully restored and transformed into a safe, modern, and conducive learning environment for pupils and teachers.

đź”— Join Our ChannelAccording to information from the Lekki LCDA, the reconstruction project included the installation of a new solid roofing system and ceiling, fresh interior and exterior painting, newly laid floors, and the provision of improved toilet facilities.

The project also featured the replacement of old fittings with new windows and doors, significantly enhancing safety and comfort within the school premises.
Speaking on the development, the council chairman reiterated that the intervention aligns with his administration’s broader agenda to prioritise the welfare of pupils and teachers, while ensuring that public schools across Lekki LCDA meet acceptable safety and learning standards.
“The safety of our children and the quality of their learning environment remain a top priority. We will continue to invest in educational infrastructure to ensure no child is left to learn under unsafe conditions,” the chairman stated.
Meanwhile, the National Youth Council of Nigeria, NYCN Lekki LCDA expressed appreciation for the timely intervention, describing the reconstruction as a major relief and a clear demonstration of responsive leadership.
