The church categorized these measures as precautionary and mandatory for all levels of the ministry.
βThese measures are strictly precautionary and designed to ensure the safety and well-being of our members in light of the existing security situation in the country. All MFM ministers, groups, and departments are required to adhere to this directive,β the memo emphasized.
The notice was circulated to Principal Regional Overseers, Senior Regional Overseers, Mega Regional Overseers, zonal pastors, and branch pastors for prompt implementation. This directive arises amid growing security threats in various regions of Nigeria, including incidents of banditry, kidnappings, and assaults on rural communities.
