Super Eagles players, officials reportedly boycott training ahead of Gabon clash

The Super Eagles of Nigeria are facing a critical situation ahead of their 2026 World Cup playoff semi-final clash against Gabon on Thursday, with the full squad, including officials, boycotting training in Morocco due to unresolved issues with outstanding payments.

According to BBC Sports Journalist, Olueashina Okeleju, the players and officials are unhappy with the lack of progress in resolving their payment concerns, which has led to the boycott of training sessions.
